[Before It Takes Us]

easy to listen to. I'm usually hesitant when clicking on songs labelled as "'rock" on this website because I fear for my ears as well as having a hatred for anything even closely resembling death metal emo screamo trash, but this was very very nice i thoroughly enjoyed it!

I come from a completely different part of music with my most recent submissions being Ambient/Electronica with vocals and my past submissions being mostly Trance/Techno of some kind, but I liked this piece for it's ability to captivate me just like my favorite songs do, while still being simple, which parallels my own minimalistic style of music.

It reminded me of vacations. Of summer time and beaches, a welcome reminder of nice life will be once the blistering cold season's done and over with. Good job and keep it up!

And if you don't mind, maybe check some of my stuff out?

I don't know who DJ Splash is but this isnt bad at all. It's a shame how barren this website has gotten in the feedback and review department. Nobody ever takes the time to write something.

It's very upbeat and happy sounding and has a nice melody. I do prefer more ambient/trance music to this, but it doesn't mean i don't ever like songs of these kind. It just depends the mood i'm in.

A few of my songs are upbeat, similar to this one, but not recently, so it was nice to listen to this and hear a contrast in what i've been making lately. It actually reminded me of what I used to try to aspire to create when I first started on newgrounds years ago.

I listen to drum and bass on occasion, and usually what makes the genre for me is actually having bass. This song had none. Fix that and you'd get a higher score from me. i voted 4/5.

One thing, the drums are too loud too harsh. Don't match the rest of the ambient feel. Otherwise okay, I guess. Needs less repetition. A lot less.

This is nice

This reminds me of this hispanic chick I know named Jasmine. I'm pretty sure she digs me. That had nothing to do with the song, just thought you should know.

This is bland though, but you get 10 and 5/5 for reminding me of someone I know, and trying something with a spanish flare, which is probably the hardest music ever. I'm cuban, I should know.

Why is it so quiet? In beginning

Why is it so quiet? Kinda sleep inducing. It gets good at like 1:20 when the bass gets in. I dunno what else to say, I like reviews on my own stuff so I decided to give back :)

Not much I can say on this, it's a good mainstream trance song. Check out my stuff too sometime!

the first 30 or so seconds is as faithful to the original as I could manage, the rest is just me doing my own little thing. I always love hearing my favorite game songs rendered through high quality instruments. Gives them a more hardcore vibe I can really get into it.

This is familar, I think a bunch of your songs are the same song just remixed multiple times, still good.

haha, well I do admit my style often gives a sense of songs being too close to another. But no none of these songs are remixes of each other. If I remember right this song was written mid 2007 which I think you will hear many stylistic similarities of songs in that period.
